Most depictions of Christ show a rather stoic look to Him. While this is all well and good, I believe He didn't have this expression all of the time. He's our ever loving Savior, guys, I'm sure He smiled. :)

Jesus is owned by no one, but Himself.

Hmm, well he smiled more then just for being loving, he was a living human being, who partied, had friends, and lived a happy life :D. I rather like this smithy, I really like the way you did his hair.

it's about time someone did something like this (the Vatican probably sees this as blasphemy cause of the whole must keep everything strict thing though) personally I like this rendering, makes it easier to see him as being more on our level (no disrespect meant, i mean living among us, not having that above humans air some {but not all} depictions have)...now I'm just reasoning WAY too much.

Great job Smithy, keep up the good work.

He lived in the Middle East, so He obviously did have darker skin, I don't know about black, though. However, it probably wouldn't have mattered as He came to die for all people regardless of skin tone.

Jesus never did deny His Jewish heritage, so I don't doubt that either. The only reason why Jews and Christians are seperate today is simply due to which side follows Him as Savior.
