This is one of the drawings I'm sending off to Cahaba Productions, Inc. as an example of my work. There's going to be one more, but I haven't finished it yet.

This pretty much sums it up really. We Christians are often labelled by the world as a Jesus Freak in a more derogatory sense, but this isn't anything to be scared of. I'm happy to be called a Jesus Freak as there's no reason to hide the truth nor any reason to be ashamed of what we believe in.

Jon here is wearing a sign depicting who he is: a freak to the world because of what he believes, but he seems to have a look not often associated with being called a freak.

This too is inspired off a song, this time by the now disbanded DC Talk.

Like the song says: What else can I say? I don't really care if I'm labelled this way. I rather enjoy it.:)

Jesus Freak lyrics

Separated I cut myself clean
From a past that comes back in my darkest of dreams
Been apprehended by a spiritual force
And a grace that replaced all the me I've divorced
I saw a man with tatt on his big fat belly
It wiggled around like marmalade jelly
It took me a while to catch what it said
Cause I had to match the rhythm of his belly with my head
Jesus Saves is what it raved in a typical tattoo green
He stood on a box in the middle of the city
And claimed he had a dream
What will people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus freak
What will people do when they find that it's true
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak
Cause there ain't no disguising the truth
Kamikaze my death is gain
I've been marked by my maker
A peculiar display
The high and lofty they see me as weak
Cause I won't live and die for the power they seek
There was a man from the desert with naps in his head
The sand that he walked was also his bed
The words that he spoke made the people assume
There wasn't too much left in the upper room
With skins on his back and hair on his face
They thought he was strange by the locusts he ate
The Pharisee's tripped when they heard him speak
Until the king took the head of this Jesus freak
[ repeat chorus ]
People say I'm strange, does it make me a stranger
That my best friend was born in a manger
People say I'm strange, does it make me a stranger
That my best friend was born in a manger
[ repeat chorus twice ]
What will people think
What will people think
What will people do
What will people do
I don't really care
What else can I say
There ain't no disguising the truth
Jesus is the way

The pose makes him come off quite bit like one of those cocky detective anime sorts. You know the type. xP But I think that can be also interpreted to him showing his confidence in his beliefs.

When lies become reality
You numb yourself with drugs and t.v.
Lift yourself up it's a brand new day
So turn yourself round
Don't burn yourself, turn yourself
Turn yourself around to the sun

A being in the center of the Universe that shares my soul can change into any organism, what can yours do?

Huh. I suppose we're all freaks in our sense. And the important part is indeed to hold our head high and acknowledge that, indeed, that's what makes us so interesting.

People have told me before "You're so weird." In reply, all I can say is: "Hell yeah. And I wouldn't want it any other way."

Another awesome work of art. I, too, am taken aback by the discrimination in this world... No one should ever be persecuted for their gender, ethnicity, beliefs, anything, actually.

Humans have invaded the Lylat System...They were seemingly centuries behind the Lylatians in technology...It should have been a quick, decisive victory for the Lylatians...It wasn't.

Oh yeah, good ol' DCTalk. :D I miss those guys. Kinda sad that they went their separate ways, but they're still kickin', and at least the "break-up" was a lot more gentle than some other bands.

"You call me a freak like it's a bad thing." =P

I used to listen to them a lot when I was a child, but asI grew older, I heard them less and less until they pretty much disappeared altogether. I myself miss them quite a bit, but they all had their reasons.
